Welcome back to Giselle daydreams! I decided to publish an impromptu post and presenting my firstSurrealist visual diary. The whole of October (minus one day to be exact) I posted a Surrealist artwork on Notes and I thought I wanted to immortalise my selection by making a post.
Giorgio de Chirico, Piazza d’Italia, 1950
Leonor Fini, Comme tous les soirs, 1977
René Magritte, L’idée, 1966
Leonora Carrington, Le livre de chevet, 1956
Circle of Giuseppe Arcimboldo, Anthropomorphic Still Life with Pots, Pans, Cutlery, a Loom, and Tools
Hans Bellmer, La Poupée, 1936
Fragmente by Edgar Ende
Dream of Venus, the entrance of Salvador Dalí’s Surrealist funhouse, 1939
I saw lots of these as Notes and liked all the women's ones! (I am on a mission to popularise the women surrealists). I hadn't seen the Leonora Carrington one in the bed before: loved that!

Great that you marked the anniversary.
Some fantastic choices. Thank you!
