I knew Mondrian and the De Stihl movement, but not Moss. Her work is more interesting, with the added lines. The sculptures are wonderful! 💕 Thank you so much, Giselle, I am so glad to have learned this!

Thank you for reading me as always, Sheila! Same as you, I knew about Mondrian and De Stijl but only discovered her recently. What is fascinating with art, is that you can learn something new everyday!

Your brush is so much wider than mine. I am just a photography nut! I started looking at where I can see Moss' work in my travels. I look forward to it!

Excellent, thank you. I get a real sense of dynamism from the works you so and such clean lines. It’d be interesting to see an exhibition of her work.

Thank you for your kind words, Rita. Unfortunately, there are no exhibitions showcasing her work at the moment. I hope that changes tough!

Thanks! It's amazing how purity of style, of principles in style, made such a difference in artists' relationships at the time.

I see a welcome (my taste) reference to, or a personal inclination towards Brancusi's style in Moss's 'Balanced Forms in Gunmetal on Cornish Granite' (1956-57) and 'Untitled' (1950) sculptures.

Do you see that too?

I completely agree with you. I think a sculpture like Princess X (1915-16) by Brancusi may have influenced her. Thank you for making the conversation even more interesting!
